Rail Trail and Ballooning

The Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail, caters  for walkers, cyclists and horse riders.  The trail meanders through the beautiful Yarra Valley following the disused railway built in 1901. The rail trail's gentle gradient makes it an ideal destination for people of all ages and fitness.  It runs from Lilydale to Warburton and is approx 34km's.

Taking off at dawn with Ballon Sunrise / Peregrine, GoWild or Global, you discover the romance and serenity of a balloon flight as you rise above the patchwork landscape of  Yarra Valley.  Sunrise highlights the changing colours of the vineyards and landscape set against the curves of the upper Yarra River.   Many have taken advantage of the peaceful tranquility for a very special and memorable marriage proposal.
